OK, I just saw this today and it is the craziest thing… It’s not really ‘hypnotizing’, but evidently if you put a chicken’s head under it’s wing and rock it a bit, it will play dead.
You know I’m going to try this, right? 
You only have to watch the first minute or so of the video to see how it’s done.
I’ll be sure to give a full report!
